London's Royal Mail workers protest pay, conditions

Royal Mail workers held a rally near the Houses of Parliament in the centre of the capital on Friday (December 9), as members held a strike. Britain is in the midst of a wave of industrial action in both the public sector and the privately operated rail sector, which relies heavily on government subsidies, as well as other industries including postal and telecoms workers.
