Tensions flare in Paris as drivers confront environmental activists blocking iconic avenue

Things escalated into violence on Paris’ iconic Avenue des Champs-Elysees when it was blocked by environmental activists, as some angry drivers yelled at them and even clashes erupted at one point. Police weren’t happy by the event either, swiftly clearing the avenue by dragging the climate-change-addled folks off the road.
