‘This specific victory was a result of hard work’ - Putin on Bout-Griner swap

During his press conference at EAEU meeting, Vladimir Putin commented on the prisoners swap of Russian businessman Viktor Bout and US basketball player Brittney Griner.

He has noted that the swap wasn’t exactly a ‘prelude’ to improving Moscow’s dialog with Washington on other aspects, but it has created ‘some kind of different atmosphere’ and it may bring some ‘positive results’.
