Protests in Peru as President Castillo ousted following attempt to dissolve Congress

Lima in Peru has been rocked by protests following the ousting of President Pedro Castillo as he attempted to dissolve the country’s Congress and was swiftly replaced by Dina Boluarte. Supporters of the former leader were seen waving flags and banners as they clashed with riot police.
