Watch a Solar Eclipse From Space

When you experience a solar eclipse, you are just inside a massive shadow cast by the Moon on the Earth. In this simulation, we can watch a similarly-sized moon cast a shadow on an Earth-like planet from a better perspective. In this simulated system, the orbiting moon is only about 30,000 kilometers (~18,600 miles) from the planet, which is extremely close. This causes the planet to have a solar eclipse every day.
