Kylian Mbappe and France train ahead of encounter with England in the World Cup Quarter-Finals

France trained in Doha on Thursday, two days ahead of their showdown with England in the quarter-finals of the Qatar World Cup.

Les Bleus are the first defending champions that have made it into the knockout phase since 2002 champions Brazil achieved the feat in 2006.

It will be the third encounter between France and England at a World Cup finals.

England won the previous two in 1966 - when they went on to win their only title to date - and in 1982, but this will be the first time they have met in the knockout stage.
