Hi and welcome! We are Douglas and Keri and we recently quit our jobs, sold everything, and in September of 2022 we took a leap of faith and moved onto our off grid homestead property in the high desert of Cochise County, Arizona. Follow along with us as we build our off grid homestead property with our two rebels, Willow & Zoey and our 16 y/o kitty, Boo.

One of the best investments we made in our homestead is our tractor which Doug has affectionately named Bonnie...maybe some day there will be a Clyde to Doug's Bonnie? Stay tuned :) The tractor has been invaluable in developing our raw land and helping us create berms and swales to manage water run off. Like we have talked about before, water in the desert is precious and we want to make sure we use every drop thoughtfully and always with an eye towards long-term, regenerative management of this beautiful land.
