Anchorage faces snowiest December since 1999

Mounds of snow were seen in Anchorage, Alaska this week as the area saw its snowiest December in over two decades, according to local news reports.

Footage captured by Kimala Mae Crockett shows parts of the city covered in white on Wednesday morning. Later into the morning, the local National Weather Service office said their snow depth was 17 inches.
