Putin’s war gets personal? Germany encourages Ukraine to strike Russia as U.S backs out

After U.S turned its back on Ukraine amid drone strikes on Russia air bases, Germany has encouraged Ukraine to attack Russia in a major escalation of war. Germany urged Ukraine to not limit its war. "Ukraine has a right to self-defense under article 51 of the UN charter," said German government spokesperson Steffen Hebestreit. This comes after the U.S secretary of state Antony Blinken clarified that U.S neither encouraged nor enabled Ukraine to strike deep into Russia.
