Hello everyone! Welcome back to Paw’s Affliction. In this video, I'm going to show you Wolf Abandoned By Its Mother Grows Up With Human Family – Acts Like A Dog
Rescue Stories:
A woman adopted and raised a wolf, because it would never have survived in the wild. The thing is the she-wolf, named Kira, was born in a wolf sanctuary, and her mother rejected her: she didn’t get the chance to learn how to hunt. Staff from the shelter nursery had to feed the baby wolf by hand.
Then Alida, a Russian woman, took Kira home when she was 28 days old, and started to socialise her. She studied the species extensively, to find out what she was letting herself in for. She explains the process of training a wolf is very long and hard, because wolves don’t like new situations. She also says Kira is very stubborn, but Alida didn’t give up. She took her new pet, wearing a muzzle, on walks around the city, so she could get used to dogs and children.
As a result, Kira isn’t aggressive. She stays away from children who are scared of her. At home, she is very cuddly with her human Mom and her 7 year-old human brother. Unlike a dog, she isn’t clingy though, Alida observes.
In real life, people are curious and often want to take selfies with the animal. However, Alida says she gets lots of abuse online. People called her crazy for keeping a dangerous predator at home.
