What's the best way to cut a watermelon?

00:22 - Step 1: Cut the ends off of the watermelon.

Cutting off the top of a seeded watermelon is the best way to get started, so it doesn't roll away from you.

01:20 - Step 2: Remove the Rind

Slice off the top of the watermelon and follow the curve of the melon, cutting away one section of the rind. It's important that you remove all the white rind without cutting off too much of the sweet, juicy red flesh of the watermelons.

03:20 - Step 3: Carve out and Scrape away the Seeds

Cut the watermelon down the middle, the long ways to easily access all of the seeds. Removing every seed from the inside of the fruit can be quite laborious with a knife and spoon, so you can see I took a shortcut.

03:45 - Step 4: Give the watermelon a super water cleanse.

By giving the seeded area of the watermelon a good basic scraping with a spoon and knife, the pulpy mush will be ready to pour out.

Run half the watermelon under the water in the sink and give it a blast. The seeds will just pour out and head into the colander or drain.

05:37 - Step 5: Cut and enjoy!

Now that you've learned brolop's way how to cut a watermelon and remove all the seeds, try this method with any large fruit with seeds in the middle, but not with jackfruit, trust me.
