Creamy Pasta with Bacon

Ingredients:

250 grams spaghetti pasta
1 cup bacon bits
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 egg yolk
1 cup parmesan cheese ( and some parmesan cheese for serving )
1/2 tsp pepper
3 tbsp chopped fresh basil

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a hot skillet saute the bacon bits until crisp. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
3. Add heavy cream in the same skillet over low heat. Then add the eggyolk whisk into the sauce.
Whisk the parmesan cheese and also the pepper. ( No salt for me because parmesan cheese is a bit salty already. )
4. Add the cooked spaghetti pasta, bacon and fresh basil. Toss well to combined.
5. Garnished with some parmesan cheese on top and serve immediately.
