how to make color bass stab sound in only and exactly 7 seconds.... sorry that was a lie, maybe like 2 min irl but hey, the Algo wants fast so too bad!!

anyways the main way to make a color bass lead or sound is to basically take something clicky so in this case I used a high pitched up kick and then added the color to it after.

you can literally use anything tonal like a random stock chord sample like I did or even pads, or leads, melodies.. pots and pans. you name it. as long as it sound somewhat tonal, you can make it color bass!!!

it's also important to remember to cutout any harsh frequencies if there are any. you didn't see it in the video but on the eq of the hybrid reverb, I took out the low and and some of the mid hi frequencies near 2k Hz since it was very resonant.
