God chooses if and when He is going to call someone to Jesus for repentance and salvation. You have zero say in it. Our first birth of the water is as a broken sinner. Our second birth, if allowed by God, is being indwelled by His Spirit allowing you to repent. You have no choice in either birth. You can’t earn it. Is that offensive?
