It's still a touchy subject in Germany, but is it really going to be "justice" if you waited the better part of 8 Decades to get around to locking someone up, who was a minor at the time, over suspicion that they knew about what was going on in a Concentration Camp?

Irmgard Furchner, the now 97-year old secretary at the Sutthof concentration camp in Poland from June 1943 through April 1945, is on trial for being complicit in the deaths of some 10,000 people. It's a horrific story and if she was pumping the gas or causing the deaths, that's one thing. But to suggest locking up a 97 year old woman who has had to deal with this for decades is your definition of "justice," I don't know what to say.

Anti-Semitism is getting a lot of attention lately, shout out Fuentes and Ye. So any time you can link a story to keeping that narrative of how bad things can get when the "right" goes too far, you bet the media will run with it. Nazi's are bad, we get it, but you have more contemporary examples that are damaging to society, the thing is, they don't fit into that ideological box too well...
