NT Bible Study 43: Jesus rejected in Nazareth (Beginning of Jesus' Galilean Ministry part 3)
This is a comparative Bible study on the events surrounding the beginning of Jesus' Galilean ministry. This 3rd part concludes our discussion on Jesus visiting Nazareth, where He was brought up in the flesh (Matthew 4:12-13, Luke 4:14-30 John 4:43-44). During this Bible study, we considered two accounts that Jesus referenced from the old testament in 1st Kings chapter 17 and 2nd Kings chapter 5. Verses referenced during this Bible study are: Luke 16:21-30, Isaiah 61:1-2, Matthew 13:57, Mark 6:4, John 4:44, 1 Kings 17:8-15, 2 Kings 5:1-5, 2 Kings 5:9-10, Luke 2:36, Mark 5:1, 2 Chronicles 15:9, 2 Chronicles 30:18, 2 Chronicles 34:5-6, 2 Chronicles 34:9, John 8:59, John 10:39-40, Luke 24:16, Luke 24:30-31. Overall, this is our 43rd New Testament (NT) Bible study. I'm a layperson, hoping to witness things I believe I've learned through Bible study, and would like to share this information as a friend would with a friend.
