NT Bible Study 42: Jesus was anointed: Luke 4:18-21 (Beginning of Jesus' Galilean Ministry part 2)

This is a comparative Bible study on the events surrounding the beginning of Jesus' Galilean ministry. This 2nd part further discusses Jesus visiting Nazareth, where He was brought up in the flesh (Matthew 4:12-13, Luke 4:14-30 John 4:43-44). During this Bible study, we especially looked at Luke 4:18-19 (comparing those verses with Isaiah 61:1-2) and continue on through Luke 4:21 where Jesus declared that he had been anointed. Other verses referenced during this Bible study are: 2 Peter 1:20-21, Luke 3:21-22, Acts 10:37-38. Overall, this is our 42nd New Testament (NT) Bible study. I'm a layperson, hoping to witness things I believe I've learned through Bible study, and would like to share this information as a friend would with a friend.
