FREEDOM OF CHOICE – Decisions are made by the court based on the laws that the New Zealand Parliament pass.

The Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party does not take sides but recognises the right to Freedom of Choice and that we must be wary of dangerous overreach from the State over Individual Rights.
We have all witnessed how wrong the state can be on the matter of cannabis consumption for medicinal and recreational use. Whereby citizens have been persecuted, prosecuted, and criminalised, with their freedoms taken away, as well as being punished, for their beliefs.

We all need to ask the question: Where are we going regarding State intervention on medical matters, in people’s lives, who pays the price, and where is the accountability?
