Physicians Demand Assault Weapons Ban, Treat Mass Shootings As Public Health Crisis

Physicians with the March Fourth organization pleaded that lawmakers pass an assault weapons ban during the lame-duck session of Congress and designate mass shootings as a public health crisis. Among the physicians present included those who treated victims of school shootings in 2022 in St. Louis and Uvalde.
