Best Surprise Ever! Baylor Volleyball Player Receives FULL Scholarship During Gift Exchange

Lauren Briseño, a sophomore at Baylor University in Texas, was given the surprise of a lifetime during a team gift exchange at her coach's home. Briseño had been a walk-on for Baylor's volleyball team since her freshman year and had been playing and attending school without a scholarship. During the gift exchange she was given a note praising her for her hard work and self-sacrifice ending with the gift of a full-ride scholarship amounting to around $50,000 per year. "I'm so grateful to be here, playing with this team, playing with these coaches and just not letting scholarship, not scholarship, not letting it define who I am as a player, but just being eternally grateful for what I have," she told Good Morning America.
