This is wrong on so many levels. If you are incapable of making a shot that is less than 15 feet aka doing your job, you need to leave. This is the kind of thing that needs to be highlighted. It’s why I feel the way I do about training and guys who provide training. The business of carrying a gun needs to be taken serious in ways it generally hasn’t. Do the work and build your skills. The funny thing is it’s that simple.

Failing to react in time, failure on accuracy, failure on reading the situation…the list goes on and on.

How serious do you take your training? A lot of guys are enthusiasts and are what I’d consider high opinions low commitment. It’s not about gear or the gram. What can you do in demand when it counts. It takes work, more than you think. You can get it wrong 100 times on the range but you can’t get it wrong when it counts. What are your thoughts about this, from what I got the suspect and victim died at the hands of LEOs on this one. This is a rough conversation to have bug it’s necessary. How does this get fixed?
