Creation of a special body to investigate attacks on residential areas of Donbass: Putin

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with members of the Human Rights Council, said that it is worth considering the creation of a special body to investigate the shelling of Donbass.

“It is important to carry out investigations, record these crimes, especially attacks on civilian and residential areas. Maybe create some kind of general body that deals with this, and a state commission. Let's think," Vladimir Putin said.

The head of the Russian state also suggested thinking about how to call on those who want to engage in these investigations. Putin promised to entrust this issue to the General Prosecutor's Office of Russia.

Глава Российского государства также предложил подумать над темой, как призвать тех, кто хочет заниматься этими расследованиями. Путин пообещал поручить данный вопрос Генеральной прокуратуре России.
