A mother weeps over the body of deputy Maria Pirogova, who was killed on December 6 during shelling of Donetsk by the Ukrainian army.

Maria or simply Masha Pirogova (for many) was a volunteer and deputy of the People's Council.

Masha became a volunteer in 2014. She collected things, traveled to the areas of combat operations and always lent a helping hand to people. The girl became the organizer of the "Wishing Tree" campaign. Thanks to this project many children's dreams came true.
