A Painful, but Required Day Trader Skill

There are many required skills to be a day trader. The truth of the matter is, some of these skills are flat out painful! This is what separates day trading from many other pursuits in life. In many situations, the skill required is quite fun and enjoyable to develop and implement. In the world of online day trading, unfortunately, this is not how it works. Let me walk you through a real life example of one of my personal online stock trades that illustrates this exact point. As backwards as it sometimes sounds, the best way to have success as a day trader is to bring about pain. Pain is not pleasant, but it’s a necessity to becoming (and remaining) a profitable trader.
