Long-necked plesiosaur fossil discovered in outback Queensland

Three amateur palaeontologists have made a world-first discovery that could solve the mystery of our prehistoric past.

The 100-million-year-old fossil was unearthed on a cattle station in outback Queensland and incredibly, it's not a dinosaur.
