Bald Eagle Snags a Fish, Coeur d'Alene Lake, Sony A1/Sony Alpha1, 4k

I was standing at the water's edge when I starting tracking this approaching Bald Eagle in my camera's viewfinder. I couldn't believe it when it banked left and headed straight for me as it descended to the water to snag a fish. Notice how the bird watches the fish until it's in his talons ... then his head pop-up to look forward.

I captured this 115-shot sequence of the event and animated it in Photoshop for output to MP4 video.
