Spain leave team hotel after being knocked out by Morocco

The Spain national soccer team left their compound early morning on Wednesday (7th December)en route to Madrid following their surprise elimination from the World Cup in Qatar.

The first World Cup held in an Arab nation produced the Arab world's first quarter-finalist on Tuesday, with Morocco beating Spain 3-0 in a penalty shootout.

Penalties have been a problem for Spain of late - they were eliminated by Russia through penalties at the 2018 World Cup, and by eventual winners Italy at Euro 2020.

They haven'tadvanced past the last 16 at the World Cup winning the tournament in South Africa in 2010.
