In the midst of all the YouTube Drama, My DMCA experience.

So Yt has been in a bit of the public eye as two YouTubers had a pretty public clash. It really seemed minor and obvious of what the right thing to do would be, however yt decided to surprise everyone... and no one at the same time... by choosing to do the absolute wrong thing here.

Now this drama originally boils down to a hot Elden Ring take and DMCA abuse. I can tell you from my own experience how broken the DMCA system is on this platform and figured now was the perfect time to share it as hopefully the eyes on this issue will actually cause policy change. I'm sure THOUSANDS of these false claims go around each day where larger channels punch down at smaller ones. This happened to me from across the world when I only had 38 subscribers. It was crazy and the only thing that would get me any help was complaining about it on twitter.

I actually love this platform and I think almost everyone wants it to succeed but oh man do they need to rework some things here...
