Gran Via - Max Holm (Solo Piano)

"Gran Via" is a Latin-inspired original jazz composition in an 13/8 odd time signature composed by Max Holm and performed by Max Holm. This original composition is inspired by Spanish classical guitar styles, flamenco palos, buleria, Chick Corea, Chano Dominguez, Paco De Lucia, Lole y Manuel and Camaron de la Isla. This recording was filmed by Chris Fong Chew.

Max played the tune privately for Chick Corea and Chick said he connected with it and asked Max to play it again.

The original GRAN VIA recording with a quartet is the bonus track on Max Holm's debut ep DON'T BE A STRANGER.
