The mythical ancient Greek creature known as the Minotaur was part of the famous Greek myth of King Minos of Crete. King Minos was the son of the Gods Zeus and Europa.

The story depicts a tale of a labyrinth built under Minos’s castle that houses the half man-half bull creature. Every nine years he would pick seven young boys and girls to be sent to the maze under his castle to be eaten by the Minotaur.
