God of War Ragnarok 11 | Unleashing Hel

Returning to Atreus’ story, he is preparing for his next step in restoring the mask by going to Helheim with Thrud and Heimdall. As Loki and Thrud make their way through Helheim, Heimdall was given a different task, the two are resourceful enough to survive on their own as Loki seeks out the mask but eventually come across the imprisoned Garm whom the mask led him to. Feeling pity for the locked up creature, Loki with Thrud’s help frees him but their choice causes terrible repercussions for the Nine Realms that leave Atreus feeling like he’s messed up on a whole other level.

Feeling self-pity, he chooses to leave Asgard to return home downtrodden but finds that the Realm Between Realms is under attack because of what he’s done.

After playing through God of War (2018) recently, it's time to get through the sequel, God of War - Ragnarok (2022) which takes place several years later and sees both Father and Son embark on a new journey leading up to the end, Ragnarok.
