Bra Kondo (Official Audio)

Bra Kondo' means agama lizard in the local patois Krio, spoken in Sierra Leone, where I come from. It's a creature locally known for shaking its head as a form of congratulating itself after surviving impossible falls from elevated places. I recognize the ingenuity in that, a mere creature that understands the importance of saluting itself for overcoming impossibilities! Challenges are parts of living and I believe as human beings we also have to develop a culture of self-motivation and self-congratulation after conquering seemingly impossible fits even when nobody else recognizes the height of the challenges we had to overcome. This is why I made this song, I sincerely hope you enjoy it and always remember to be happy you are alive because life is a gift
