Riding the Dollywood Express: A real-life Christmas Train in the Smoky Mountains

The Dollywood Express is one of the most popular rides in Dollywood, especially during Christmas. The Dollywood Express is a real life steam locomotive that was used during World War 2 and has been part of the bark going back as far as when it was known as Silver Dollar City.

Ridding the train during Christmas always reminds me of The Polar Express. You travel up through the Great Smokey Mountains and see some amazing landscapes in the area. When everything is decorated for Christmas, the ride is even more enjoyable.
