Explosions captured as Israeli airstrike hits Hamas' infrastructure in Gaza Strip

Israeli warplanes carried out strikes against Hamas' infrastructure early Sunday.

Footage features several flying missiles followed by explosions.

According to Israeli Defence Forces Spokesperson’s Unit, the attack was carried out after a rocket was fired from the Strip into southern Israel earlier in the night.

Following the incident, a rocket alert was issued for open areas near the small farming communities of Shlomit and Bnei Betzarim close to the Egyptian border and opposite Gaza's Rafah.

Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades armed wing reportedly confirms shooting missiles at Israeli jets, which targeted a rocket manufacturing centre and tunnel in an overnight strike.
