Moroccan fans celebrated the national team's historic World Cup win against Spain in Amsterdam on Tuesday. A heavy police presence was deployed to prevent the situation from escalating, as supporters revelled in the streets. Morocco defeated Spain 3-1 on penalties after neither side managed to score in extra time, reaching the quarter-finals for the first time in the country's history.

Marokko besiegte Spanien mit 3:1 im Elfmeterschießen, nachdem es keiner Mannschaft gelungen war, in der Verlängerung ein Tor zu erzielen, und erreichte damit zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte des Landes das Viertelfinale.
