Biden's Aloof Attitude About the Border Crisis

This morning as President Joe Biden was going to Arizona to visit a computer chip company, he once again dismissed the humanitarian crisis that is blazing at our southern border.

As Biden exited the White House, he was asked by Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy why he would visit Arizona, a border state being affected by the tidal wave of illegal border crossings, and not actually visit the border. Especially when he's had the job for two years and still hasn't gone to the border.

President Biden's answer should make your head spin:

"Because there are more important things going on. They are going to invest billions of dollars in a new enterprise in the state."

It's truly an insult to our country's Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) officers who are overwhelmed, stretched beyond thin, and feeling like their country has abandoned them to fight an unwinnable war. Commerce is good. Business is good. But to put it over the lives of our CBP officers, and those desperate migrants willing to go through the legal process to pursue their own American dream, is indefensible.

And it's not even sincere. President Biden is not going to the border because if he did and still chose to deny the crisis, he'd look foolish and likely lose whatever credibility, if any, he still has in the world, and he knows it. Or his people do. Meanwhile, enough deadly fentanyl is flooding our country through Mexico, enough to kill every American ten times over. For the sitting President to ignore it so as not to look bad is disgusting.

As my dad ACLJ Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow said, even the Left is getting frustrated with Biden's total inaction at the border:

"I think the reality is starting to sink in because when you've got Democratic members of the Senate saying this isn't working, help here. This is a serious problem. Now you've got to take it to the next step. What's the solution? So the solution is Joe Biden goes with a big announcement on an economic development, great. But then head on down to the border. At least support your folks that are trying to do their job. But he doesn't want to do that either. That's the problem."

At the ACLJ, we're tired of Biden's aloof attitude about the border crisis. The safety and security of American citizens is in danger. We know that drug dealers, human traffickers, and known terrorists have been apprehended crossing the border. When will enough be enough? We told you how we've filed THREE Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to different Biden Agencies – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) – which you can view here, here, and here, demanding answers on why President Biden is doing practically NOTHING to combat the blazing humanitarian crisis at our southern border. In fact, by doing nothing, he's doing just the opposite. He's allowing the flames to spread.

Today's full Sekulow broadcast includes more reactions to Biden's offensive statement this morning and a discussion of the Biden Administration's failed border policies so far. We also updated you on a major Senate runoff happening today in Georgia.
