A short review of our trip to Fiji with 30 secs video clips of where we stayed on the second part of our trip.
We spent a week at Sheraton Tokoriki before arriving at Natabe Retreat. This was our first time in Fiji and we were not quite sure what to expect. After 8 days at the Sheraton where it was a hustle and bustle of activity, music and people we were kinda looking forward to a little peace and quiet. After a few hours on the flyer we arrived at the privately owned Tavewa Island and immediately we knew we had come to the right place. Col(our host) picked us up in his runabout and transported all our luggage to the main house with his electric scooters/truck. Nicky (our hostess) had a refreshing welcome drink waiting. The next 8 days were literally filled with us doing whatever wanted - fishing, walking the beach, catching the sunsets, with out hosts guiding and keeping us very well fed. We are indeed very grateful that they had allowed us to share their wonderful home. If anyone is planning a trip to Fiji, I highly recommend venturing north to the Yasawa Islands and staying at Natabe Retreat. It's a B&B style place and nestled on the host's private island. All amazing meals meals included and and hiring out Island Way Adventures for short trips to explore the caves, diving, beach BBQ Fijian style and of course..fishing!
