These fermentation containers are great if you’re working out of your garden. Put a three percent solution of filtered water and salt as your starter and in no time at all you have a buildup of lactic acid which becomes your preservative. Every time you find another Fresno (ripe Jalapeno) you slice it up and toss it into the container with the rest of them. Just remember to vent it regularly or you’ll have a mess. Yeah I’ve done it before.
