LEMON: “Good morning. We hate to put a damper on Christmas, but what is happening? Why are these prices going up, Ms. Romans?”

ROMANS: “Higher fuel costs, higher fertilizer costs. I mean, you look it, Christmas only comes once a year. And this year, compared to last year, a lot of the input costs are higher for these tree growers, so the wholesale prices could be up about 15 percent this year. What goes in must come out, you know, what you pay for it.”
