Latest footage from Donbas shows the Ukrainian artillery units and military tanks on the frontline as the war, which Moscow describes as a “special military operation,” has entered its ninth month.

Some soldiers are seen as they write on the artillery shells before they are fired.

Artillery units of the Ukrainian forces have been strongly supporting the army against the enemy.

Donetsk and Luhansk together comprise the Russian-speaking Donbas region, which has remained a focus of Moscow’s ongoing “special military operation” in Ukraine.

Just before launching its war in late February, Moscow recognised both territories as “independent people’s republics.”

Since the start of the war on Feb. 24, civilian casualties have reached 16,784, including 6,595 killed and 10,189 injured, according to the UN figures.
