Olivia Wilde’s Attack On Jordan Peterson,
Says #MeToo Was Never Meant To Bastardize Men

On Thursday, Megyn Kelly slammed
director Olivia Wilde’s attack
on Dr. Jordan Peterson
in her new film “Don’t Worry Darling.
” Kelly said the movie is “a man bashing film,”
according to what she’s read about it,
with a #MeToo theme
in which Peterson is depicted
as “some sort of demon.

Shapiro explained that Peterson’s philosophy
is that men have a “purpose”
and must “undergo struggle.”
He said Peterson is right that
“men do have toxic masculinity inside them
and you have to battle that with being a gentlemen.”

The host noted that “in 2019,
men accounted for 80%
of all suicide deaths in America,”
and explained that “studies
also show that a majority of American men
who die by suicide have no known history
of mental health problems.”

“As somebody who was at
the inception of the #MeToo Movement,
I think I can say what those
of us who were there at the beginning
and by the way, Olivia Wilde,
you are not one of them,”
she added.
“Okay, you were not there.
It was about just stopping men
from making sexual favors at
the office a condition of advancement.”

“Everyone agrees with that,”
Kelly continued.
“Men agree with that and women
agree with that.
It was never meant
to bastardize men writ large.
That’s what people like her are doing.
And it’s having a serious negative effect.”
