Kangaroo Shoved Through Fence During Tussle at Canberra Nature Reserve
A fight between two kangaroos at a Canberra nature reserve on August 23 came to an abrupt end when one was unceremoniously shoved through a metal fence.
Julian Doak was out taking his lunchtime exercise at Mount Taylor Nature Reserve when he came across the sparring kangaroos, capturing the epic battle on camera.
“The two ‘roos were having a biffo in front of me and I thought it’d be funny to get a video for family overseas, to show them an average Aussie slice of life,” Doak told Storyful.
“Little did I know that it would escalate rapidly with one pushed through a fence,” he said.
He added that the “fallen ’roo was last seen bouncing down the road,” suggesting that it escaped the ordeal relatively unharmed, except for perhaps a bruised ego.
