Hello, buddies. The map of the countries' territories is not at all aesthetically beautiful, as can be seen when we look at it. The Wakhan Corridor is the 350 km-long tail of Afghanistan. It divides Tajikistan and Pakistan fully and has a narrow land border with China.
It now has significant military ramifications. But let's travel back to a century and a half ago. The area was partitioned between the Russian and British empires in the nineteenth century. Central Asia is ruled by Russia. India was a British colony. Both parties agreed to treat Afghanistan as an independent nation in order to ensure that neither nation gets affected.
