The Wonder of Advent Devotional - Day 5 - Longing Fulfilled LIVESTREAM

Welcome back friends! We're on Day 5 of our Advent devotional. Sit back, relax, and spend the next few minutes reflecting on the reason why Jesus came.

Tonight's scripture:
19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.
22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
Romans 8:19, 22

Prayer:
Lord, it is not right for me to have Christ yet still feel deep, unmet needs. Show me how my longings are met in Him. Satisfy the desires of my heart. Reach into my depths and make me increasingly whole. Amen.

Reflection:
What evidence do you see of the world groaning for its redemption? What are the deepest longings you think most people have? How are they met in Christ?
