I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy holiday. While I welcome the concept of a Royal Commission into the covid response, I am of the view your terms of reference need to be widened.

I request you widen your terms of reference for the covid response Royal Commission and request the following under the Official Information Act.

1. The terms of reference for the Royal Commission for the covid response.
2. The advice and reports you had to determine the terms of reference including legal advice.
3. The advice and reports with respect to the persons appointed to the Royal Commission.
4. The advice received with respect to not including the Reserve Bank’s role with respect to the Governor of the NZ Reserve Bank with respect to the Reserve Bank of Australia having interest rates at 0.1%. Did this give an economic advantage to Australian owned banks vs New Zealand owned banks operating in the New Zealand market?
5. With respect to legal cases taking place in the United States of America concerning the American Government restricting/restricted the narrative on social media with respect to treatments and/or adverse effects resulting from covid vaccines. Was this considered or ruled out of the inquiry?

6. What information did the Government hold on the studies that showed high levels of vitamin D’s influence on the prevention and/or recovery of patients with covid-19?

7. How was the vaccination exemption administered scientifically within New Zealand?
8. Given that the New Zealand Reserve Bank is limited to the New Zealand market, why and how has the purchasing of New Zealand bonds operated?

9. What role was New Zealand involved through the Intelligence Agencies or any other way for restricting information online with respect to Covid-19?
10. What information do you hold on inflation with regard to New Zealand’s sanctions on Russia with respect to oil prices and fertiliser prices? Some analysis has suggested the recent limit on purchasing Russian oil will give China a lower cost advantage. What information do you have on this issue? 11. With respect to financial stress and anxiety what steps had been taken to reduce both of those from the 1st of January 2020? (Why You Are In Pain I Dr Gabor Maté - YouTube)
12. What are you currently undertaking to reduce living costs and also increase the stock of housing? What is your current projection of short-fall demand and future supply forecast for the year ending 2023. (It's Edwin's Monday Evening Property Rant! - YouTube) This shows serious issues in getting trades people along with supply and cost increases for new and/or renovating houses in Australia and rapid rises in rents and mortgage costs. This is an extreme crisis that needs to be addressed immediately in New Zealand and Australia.

I am seeking you to increase the terms of reference with respect to the Royal Commissions inquiry into the covid response.
Why was vitamin D not been promoted by the New Zealand Ministry of Health and other health agencies?

The role of housing needs to be included in the terms of reference. Hotel, motel, flat mate situations, renters, landlords and the role of Air BnB taking away housing supply for commercial benefit effecting housing costs and availability. The costs of accommodation separated from but including other expenses of living.

I request you extend the terms of reference to include alleged social media censorship with respect to treatments and/or adverse reactions to the vaccine and/or accountability on how this was done. Along with how the vaccination exemption administered scientifically within New Zealand?
Why and how were Doctors threatened with having to follow Government protocols and the relationship with the Authorities and the scientific evidence and procedures to come to such a conclusion?

Furthermore, I request the terms of reference to include the role of the Reserve Bank of Australia setting interest rates to banks at 0.1% with respect to the Australian owned banks that operate in the New Zealand market and their interactions with their parent bank that operates in the Australian market. With this in mind, how would the NZ Government increase housing supply and accommodation availability not only for covid response but other emergency situations e.g., volcano eruptions, tsunamis, floods, earthquakes, tornados and other significant events as a result of climate change.

You can look at the documentation written by the Ministry of Works concerning how the first Labour Government used money created by the Reserve Bank for housing.
