The romance and hero stories that have been in the world since the beginning of time are actually pointing to man’s possible relationship with Christ who is our eternal mate and heroic savior, rescuing us from the sin, evil and suffering of life in the devil’s world. The world is full of violent evil, tragic suffering and inevitable grief that human beings are unable to do anything to lessen – we are born under the domination of evil. Our only escape is possible through the Person and work of the Lord – He is our lover and our savior.
