Keep Your Enemies Close
In case you would like some Scriptural references of blessings we can speak over ourselves and others, here is a short list. It is by no means complete. Add to it. Keep it handy—on your fridge or your mirror or on the screensaver of your phone or desktop. Put this list in a place where you are likely to see if OFTEN, and pray these verses over yourself and your family.
“The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.” Numbers 6:24-27
“Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.” Deuteronomy 7:9-10
“But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.” Psalm 103:17-18
“The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.” Psalm 118:6-7
“The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” Psalm 121:8
“For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown:” Ezekiel 36:9
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31
It’s important to note that these promises are for the children of God. Not just anyone. You must be a child of God in order to claim these promises over your life, so be sure you are walking in obedience to Him!
