Dome Keeper Tower Moments Clips Part 5

I can't help but admit how interesting it is to see the tarot in action. Using the tarot to inform video games that have high levels of random elements seems to be very synchronous. Dome Keeper is acknowledged as being a roguelike game that at its core has aleatoric elements. I can't but feel that the indeterminacy of the tarot matches a game like Dome Keeper, and possibly many other games.

I could say all this and it would be easy to do, but this video I feel showcases what I am saying in real-time. Near the end of the first half of the video, my display capture starts to break up. I have a small webcam that OBS uses to capture my face as I play the game. The display capture seemed to work fine, but the video capture from the webcam started to get choppy and break up. I am sure there is a proper explanation for it. Maybe it happened because it was a long screen capture and something got caught up in the USB webcam? But what I do know is that the tarot card we got when this started to happen was the Tower. This tarot card is important in the major arcana cycle. It demonstrates the archetypal scenario of nature destroying something you have built up forcing you start again.

The Tower can be a scary card depending on what you ask of the cards, but it is truthful and honest. There is no sugar coating when you have the Tower come up in a tarot reading. For that reason, I appreciate the card's ability to create candor in a tarot reading. It shows up when it needs to. At that moment I feel that my tarot deck wanted to make a heavy statement and say: I am here, you wanna see something cool? Check this out. Enjoy the run. We saw a lot of cool things.
