Sliding mitre saws are great tools, but wouldn't it be even better if we could use the space under the saw for organized storage. In this video we incorporate many features into a sliding mitre stand including built in wood support, internal storage for our portable air compressor and air tools and supplies, which could also be a good place to store your wood router and router bits to keep them handy.
If you are still lucky enough to have a radial arm saw, it would easily adapt to this storage stand.
