Wooden Box - NEW Experimental Design

I am forever making DIY wooden boxes for all sorts of things and I wanted to try out this design idea to see how well it would work, with a basic rabbet joint box structure, from half-inch Birch Plywood, but reduce the top and the bottom too much thinner plywood to reduce weight while still maintaining strength, then add an interlocking lid design that doesn't need hinges, because some boxes are better off without hinges, especially if they are stored in drawers, lift-off lid boxes are far more convenient.
